- Description
- Work involves refurbishing two of the existing four elevators at Dworshak Dam and Powerhouse, to include shaft repairs, car replacements and upgraded controls. Repair/refurbish the two North Towers Elevators. The two North Tower Elevators are located in the same shaft and provide service to each level of the Dam. These elevators are very long runs at over 600 feet. Both of these elevators are in poor condition. Solicitation No. W912EF-09-B-0002 will be posted to the FBO website on or about November 17, 2008. Bids will be opened no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. The bid opening date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. A site visit will be offered approximately 2 weeks after the solicitation is made available to bidders. See solicitation for details about the site visit. Solicitation is open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS code for this project is 238290, and the small business size standard is $14,000,000 average annual receipts. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
