- NSN: 2510-01-516-0207, Vehicle Tailgate, P/N: 17-1-5690-1TN; TACOM-ACC-RI has a requirement for Vehicle Tailgates. FOB will be Destination. The proposed contract will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside being awarded as a Firm-Fixed Priced Contract with one (1) 100% Option. First article testing is required with a COC required for all material. Estimated solicitation issue date is December 29, 2008. This solicitation shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102; therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wanting an electronic copy may down load it on or after the issue date by accessing the following internet address: http://aais.ria.army.mil. TDP will not be available on the Internet and you will have to request it through tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any request should contain the following information; CAGE CODE (if available), COMPANY NAME, Point of Contact, STREET ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, ZIP CODE,TELEPHONE NUMBER. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet. CAUTION: This solicitation shall be issued electronically as will any amendment. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation to maintain and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same. NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS: All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (D0D) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. Further information may be obtained through the Internet at: www.acq.osd.mil/ec/fags.
