- Item Description: Pharmauectical Items. This acquisition will cover medical pharmaceuticals, including narcotics, in the 6505 Stock catalog/schedule and the current National Drug Code (NDC) database. Soliciation Date March 21, 2009. Closing date April 21, 2009. The purpose of this acquisition is for the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) to cover continuous support for Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) for the European and Pacific regions. The European region encompasses all Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) located on the Continent of Europe including Turkey plus the surrounding seas and oceans as well as Oman and Bahrain. The Pacific region will encompass all MTFs located in the Pacific including Guam, Diego Garcia and the surrounding seas and oceans. The resultant contracts will be awarded for a twenty month base period and two-twenty month options for a total of five years. The estimated value of the base period is $219,038,406 with a 5-year aggregate total of $657,115,218. Soliciation will not become available until the solicitation issue date.
