- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to release a brand name or equal Request For Quote solicitation for 8 refurbished KCI V.A.C. ATS Therapy Units, with one-year warranty. The salient characteristics for the provision 52.211-6 (Brand Name or Equal) will be included in the solicitation when it is released. This is for the VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. The solicitation is due to be released on or about December 8, 2008. Any contractor who wishes to offer their products in response to this solicitation must submit their technical data to support their claim of being at least equal to the brand name in accordance with 52.211-6.
