- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation located at the Denver Federal Center, PO Box 25007, Denver, Colorado, 80225-0007, is the home to about 6,200 employees for a variety of Federal government of the United States agencies. The Denver Federal Center encompasses an area of about 670 acres and has 90 buildings comprising over 4,000,000 square feet of office, warehouse, lab and special use space. There are 26 different Federal agencies on-site, making it the largest concentration of Federal agencies outside of Washington, D.C. The major employers at the Denver Federal Center are U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. General Services Administration, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Reclamation. The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) located in Building 67 (14-story high rise), Building 810 (1-story warehouse), and Building 56 (1-story warehouse) at the Denver Federal Center (DFC) is requesting bids for demolition and/or reconstruction of four space saver file systems, as four projects. One of the systems will be disassembled and not moved. Two systems will be disassembled, moved, and reconstructed. The last system, which is presently disassembled, will be moved and reconstructed. For the three systems that will be moved and reconstructed, a new platform for tracks will be required. The systems that are reconstructed will be electronically leveled. All work where noted will be conducted during Reclamation duty hours. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 6p.m. Any work that causes interference (noise, dust and/or odors) with Government work either on the floors above or below shall be conducted during non duty hours. This combined synopsis/solicitation is in accordance with the Acquisition of Commercial Items Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. It has been Set-aside 100% for Small Business. Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be for three (3) months to provide this service. The NAICS code for this project is 337215 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and will provide all necessary information for bidders to prepare and submit a proposal.
