- This is a sources sought announcement to located interested vendors capable of establishing a ink and toner cartridge recycling program. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD on behalf of the Army Test Evaluation Command is soliciting information to establish an environment friendly recycling solution for disposal of Hewlett Packard brand name ink and toner cartridges. The Government seeks a vendor to collect or receive empty/used ink and toner cartridges and provide a redemption credit that will be applied to procuring refurbished toner cartridges and new (non-refurbished)Hewlett Packard ink cartridges. Any company that is interested in this effort is required to provide their performance capability information and their business size by email to the point of contact not later than 19 December 2008. Documentation of vendor capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. There is no solicitation available at this time. This market research is being performed to determine the current, competitive environment. Responses to this source sought notice will be considered by the government in determining the acquisition strategy for this requirement. The NAICS for this requirement is 811212 and the small business size standard is $25 million.
