- This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price contract for an Electronic Test Set. This tester is ground support equipment for J85-GE-5 engines. NSN: 4920-01-497-2965RN; PN: BH112PA-77-3. Basic Contract Qty: 2 EA; Option I Qty: 1-3 EA; Option II Qty: 1-2 EA. Origin: FE3089 Randolph AFB, TX 78150-4553. Delivery schedule: 350 days ARO. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. To request a copy of this solicitation, go to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 19 December 2008 with approximate response date of 19 January 2009. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to Howell Instruments, Inc (98869). Authority of 6.302-1, Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See numbered note 22. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
