- U. S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TOWER SPACE. Shoshoni (Copper Mountain), Wyoming. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) seeks expressions of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing towers. NOAA presently has a NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) antenna at approximately 8,133 feet above mean level (AMSL) on a tower in Shoshoni, Fremont County, WY, along with approximately 30 square feet (SF)of floor space; and is seeking expressions of interest from owners of other towers in and around Shoshoni, WY for possible relocation of the antenna and equipment. The Government will consider relocation only if a move is economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, installation of equipment, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Occupancy would be required by May 1, 2009 and will be for a term of five years. This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and give consideration to properties other than those offered in response to this advertisement. AMOUNT: Position on a tower at 45' AGL for the placement of NWR property consisting of a Scala 4HDB155 antenna; plus floor area in an adjacent structure for placement of a Scientific Radio System transmitter. NWR will provide and install the equipment. LOCATION: Tower must be in or around Shoshoni, WY. REQUIRED: Utilities and standby power are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: The lease shall be for a five years term. OWNERS & AGENTS: This is an expression of interest for available space, NOT an invitation to bid. The following should be included in the expression of interest: Tower name and address; available height AGL for antenna placement; available square footage in adjacent building or land available for placement of structure to house equipment on premises; tower altitude AMSL; rental rates for leased space. Responses submitted by agents must be accompanied by evidence of the agent's authority to submit an expression of interest on behalf of the tower ownership.
