- The USDA-ARS, SJVASC, Parlier, CA has a requirement for a sole source maintenance agreement with Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc. for our Hitachi S-3500N scanning electron microscope. Effective date of contract will be 11/09/2008 to 11/08/2009. No other companies will be considered due to the complexity of equipment. Only Hitachi certified maintenance personell will be allowed to work on equipment and only Hitachi certified parts will be allowed as replacement for faulty parts. See numbered note 22.
