- Description
- The U.S. Government is anticipating a requirement for laundry services for the medical and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in Kuwait.The Contractor shall be prepared to provide laundry services for surge populations that can range from 8,000 to 42,000 people at a very short notice.For OIF laundry services, the Contractor shall be required to design and set-up a laundry drop-off and pick-up facility at all US Military Camps in Kuwait as well as the US Military Hospital- Kuwait.Typical laundry items will consist of, but are not limited to: uniforms, pants, shirts, socks, under garments, sleeping bags, sheets, pillow cases, towels and washcloths. In addition laundry services are required for organizational bulk items. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued on a full and open basis, with firm fixed prices based on kilograms of laundry. Anticipated release date for the RFP is 10 December 2008.
