- Description
- The Contractor shall perform software maintenance activities and deliver the Mk 98 Mod 6 US 944 Revision of ESIM Software. The Contractor shall perform maintenance activities on the Mk 98 Mod 7 UK 842 Revision of ESIM Software and bring it through verification test. The Contractor shall perform software maintenance activities on the Mk 98 Mod 6 US 944 Revision of FCSIM Software. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
