- Description
- Attached is the solicitation for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) requirement for Mail Processing and Delivery services in Montgomery County, MD. This will include receiving, inspecting, x-raying, sorting, and delivery of incoming mail, as well as the concurrent collection of outgoing mail, twice daily. Also included is the requirement to prepare and apply postage to outgoing mail and prepare and label ground service parcels to a private carrier. It is the intent of the NIH to award a Support Services (non-R&D) contract with a contract term consisting of a base year with four one-year options, for a total of five years. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The proposals are due on December 21, 2008, at 2:30 pm eastern time. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOpps web site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Technical and Business Proposals shall be in separate binders.
