- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire on a full and open competitive basis Hotel Support Services for Command Sponsored Training for the Navy Medicine, Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education Command (MN MPT&E), Bethesda, Maryland. The MN MPT&E requires hotel rooms for students attending multiple onsite training courses that are held throughout the year at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The MN MPT&E command supports onsite training courses to both enlisted and officer personnel. These courses range in length from one (1) week to three (3) months and are offered at specified times throughout the year. The estimated number of students requiring lodging varies by course and ranges from six (6) to sixty-seven (67). The contractor will also be required to provide a conference room with a maximum occupancy of no less than forty-six (46) people in support of some o! f the courses. Estimated course dates, estimated number of required rooms per course, and estimated dates when conference room will be required will be provided with the solicitation. The solicitation shall contain a requirement for a base period of performance beginning 28 March 2009 through 27 March 2010 with four (4) one-year renewal option periods. An Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Requirements type contract with Firm, Fixed-Price provisions is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 721110 and $7M, respectively. The size standard is based on the industry classification of the services being procured. The solicitation, N00189-09-T-Z011, will be made available electronically upon its release to www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. The closing date of the solicitation will be established in the solicitation. Offerors must be regis! tered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
