The essence of this arrangement is that a contractor will be awarded a SPQ and will provide the above NSN to satisfy numerous small requirements for a period not to exceed one year. Orders will be shipped to any destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. 2. All quotes for this SPQ are to be FOB destination (in accordance with clause 52.247-34). 3. The normal SOP clauses apply to this SPQ. These clauses are available upon request. The Buy-American Act applies to this procurement (in accordance with clause 52.225-1). See below for certification. 4. The Government will make award to the responsible contractor whose quote, conforming to the request for quote; will be the most advantageous to the Government. PACKING The unit packages shall be packed in a close fitting fiberboard box in compliance with the Uniform Freight Classification and the National Motor Freight Classification requirements of Rules, Item 222, Sec. 3., Minimum 200 psi, or Edge Crush Test (ECT) 32 Lbs. per Inch Width. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the latest version of FED-STD-123, "Marking For Shipment (Civil Agencies)", or marked and bar coded for delivery to military activities in accordance with the latest version of MIL-STD-129, "Military Marking For Shipment and Storage".
