- The United States Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement for all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to provide janitorial services under a performance based contract at the NOAA National Weather Service Forecast Office located at 1750 Forecast Drive; Blacksburg, Virginia. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The small business size standard is $16,500,000 average annual receipts. The NAICS code is 561720 and the PSC is S201. The duration of the contract is one base year with four one-year options. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile or written request will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) posting will appear on or about November 26, 2008. Quotes will be due on or about December 4, 2008. Anticipated contract award date is December 11, 2008. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract utilizing simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR 12 and 13 resulting from this solicitation. To be eligible for award the offeror must have a valid DUNS Number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
