- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N00189-09-T-0043. Provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 are incorporated. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The Contract Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to procure a Firm-Fixed Price Contract on a Brand Name or Equal basis, the following items: (13) 22g Solar Argos / GPS PTT-100 Satellite Transmitters. Any vendor(s) who can provide the BRAND NAME or EQUAL equipment are encouraged to submit a quote. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 Employees. This! acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. Delivery will be 30 Days ARO, FOB Destination to Norfolk, VA 23511. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF1449 which identifies the requested items, with their unit prices, extended prices, total price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D. #, Duns #, and Cage Code. Reference RFQ N00189-09-T-0043 on your proposal. Salient Characteristics: NAMRU-3 has a requirement for PTT 100 GPS-Argos Solar Transmitters to be fitted on ducks. The transmitter will be used to track the birds during their spring migration. The transmitter shall have the following characteristics: weight of 22g, 16 channel, SiV transmission schedule, Temp, activity sensors. Evaluation Factors for Award:-Technically acceptable in conformance to salient characteristics-Price Any proposal that does not provide, at a minimum, an answer to each requirement in this solicitation may be determined to be substantially incomplete and not warrant any further consideration.
