Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to perform the below scope. PURPOSE OF PROCUREMENT and SCOPE OF WORK Westinghouse Anniston (WA) is soliciting the services of a qualified Service Engineer for the purpose of testing and maintenance on the Station Battery systems. Work to include the following * Contractor(s) will participate in the Pre-Job Briefings and daily planning of work packages to insure that good communications is established with WANCDF Engineering, Operations and Maintenance departments before any work begins. Extreme caution shall be taken to insure that unplanned outages will not occur. * Vendors standard Semi-Annual PM package to include • Conducting a visual inspection • Verification of all instruments settings. • Cleaning of components and battery terminals, as required. • Adding water to batteries, as required. • Checking Specific gravity of flooded cells. • Performing standard electrical conductance tests. • Inspection and tightening, as needed of connections • Lubrication of terminals, as needed. • Checking Battery Charger for correct charging current and voltage. • Checking Battery Charger for an inadvertent ground condition o (bank should float with equal potential between + and ground and - and ground.) • Provide a report to include test results, outstanding discrepancies, and outline of work performed • Contractor shall provide 1 copy of calibration records for any calibration equipment that is used. • Contractor shall provide the MSDS sheet for any chemical products brought on site. • All parts and supplies are to be provided by the contractor/vendor. • WA will provide an Engineering representative and escort as needed.
