- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all required labor, facilities, equipment, replacement parts, supplies, materials, (direct and indirect) fixtures, tools, test equipment, appropriate technical data, to restore and modify Government-owned components of LLWAS and SAWS equipment. This equipment is critical for the continued support of aviation safety. The contractor shall furnish all repair services and return to the FAA or field facilities on exchange and repair (E&R) or on a repair and return (R&R) basis. Currently all FAA LLWAS and SAWS owned equipment is manufactured by Vaisala, Inc. The items to be serviced include: Wind Detector, NSN 6660-01-483-2039 (P/N WS425SH, 425AH), Digital Barometer, NSN 6660-01-483-1997 (P/N PTB220BBA1A2), Wind Detector, NSN 6660-01-497-9118 (P/N 425T), and Wind Detector, NSN 6660-01-481-8686 (P/N 425T-1).Vaisala, Inc. is the only known source to meet this requirement.
