- Description: This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation number F3HSC18206A003 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be good for one month after the closing post date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611519. The business size standard is $6.5M. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following items: Repair John Deere 690DR Excavator Reg#90D00412 -Remove and install new swivel -Remove and install hydraulic hoses Issues with the tractor include the following. When they rotate the excavator it freezes up and blows hydraulic lines. The blade also bleeds down and will not stay in the up position. The rotary manifold will most likely need to be replaced. (Maintenance on the tractor will be performed and the vendor's facility.) Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. The clause at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (price will be the only evaluation factor): FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and the clause at FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
