- Description
- This is a 100% HUBZONE set-aside procurement and issued under NAICS code 236220. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment for constructing the complete and fully operational 10,000 sq. ft. bay building. The building will incorporate tilt-up concrete construction and have raised flooring. The raised flooring will be approximately 4 feet above the finished slab sub-floor grade. There are no restrooms or Mechanical systems. The building is designed to meet the requirements for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, site grading, foundation excavation, subgrade preparations and drainage course, vapor barrier, cast-in-place concrete footings and foundation, insulated concrete tilt-up panels, steel framing, cold-formed metal trusses, standing seam roof panels, aluminum framed windows, exterior overhead coiling doors and steel doors with canopies, rigid grid access flooring, site and foundation drainage and waterproofing, interior lighting, electrical, floor drains, sewer and water utilities, sprinkler system, environmental protection, all work at the site and all work incidental thereto. The value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). Issue date on or about December 12, 2008. Bid opening date on or about January 13, 2009. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition therefore, bids will not be opened and contract award will not be made until all necessary funding is available.
