- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to ensure that movement of Government furniture and appliances at U.S. Naval Air Facility (NAF), Atsugi, Japan The contractor shall pick-up/deliver Government furniture and appliances to/from the residence when scheduled by the Atsugi Housing Welcome Center. The performance area will be on-base, NAF Atsugi, and off-base, within a 60 kilometers radius from NAF Atsugi. The period of performance is anticipated to be one-year basic period and four (4) one-year options, for total sixty months. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Oct 09. Offerors shall propose a transportation rate that includes but is not limited to tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, holiday work, or for operations during stormy and or inclement weather. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Details will be posted when determined.
