- The purpose of this announcement is to solicit, on an unrestricted, fulland open competitive basis, for the procurement of solenoid operated ElectricValve Operator (EVO) Assemblies and associated support services and technicaldata. A presolicitation notice was originally posted on 16 June 08 but asolicitation was never issued. The solicitation will be released within thirty(30) days of this posting. The solicitation is expected to result in a FirmFixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), typecontract with a (60) month period of performance. The current requirement is afollow-on effort to Contract No. N65540-03-D-0052 with Target Rock of EastFarmingdale, NY. Upon its release, Solicitation No. N65540-08-R-0036 will bemade available electronically at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO)website: www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be madeavailable. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technicalproposals. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for furtherinformation and instructions. The closing date for receipt of proposals will beestablished in the solicitation.
