- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to G LA & Associates, Waldorf, MD, for four, two-day retirement planning seminars for FERS and CSRS employees scheduled quarterly throughout fiscal year 2009. These seminars are part of a continual program, required by the National Treasury Employees Union, which began as an Interagency Agreement between the USDA and the IRS in fiscal year 2005 and were scheduled to run through fiscal year 2010. The seminars shall provide training, direction, and innovative strategies for interpretation of retirement financial literacy & education. This requirement shall be awarded competitively in fiscal year 2010. All responsible sources who can provide the requirement above should submit a written quotation to include a description of services via email to Bridgette Otero at Bridgette.Otero@irs.gov within 15 calendar days of this posting. Organizations submitting quotes should also include a description of corporate history, and at least three references, Federal Tax ID Number, and DUNS number. Government references are preferred. Award will be based on prices and other factors. All quotes shall include price; GSA contract number if applicable; business size and payment terms. All Treasury contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. If no responses are received, award will be made to G L A & Associates.
