- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Pekin, Illinois, inteds to issue solicitation RFQ41103-005-9 for the requirement of: Quarterly Subsistence - Meat Items. The solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination. Delivery will begin January 2009. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 2600 S. Second St. Pekin, IL 61554. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Items will be awarded based on price and past performance, with price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 20, 2008 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is December 8, 2008. The Government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer(EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database at http://ccr.gov.
