- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Armed Security Guard Services at Fort Rucker, Alabama Access Control Points and other selected sites. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 14. The requirement will be set-aside 100% small-business. A period of performance of a 12-month base period plus four 1-year options are anticipated. Contractors are required to have a SECRET clearance in order to submit a proposal. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services and the small business size standard is $18.5M. The Government anticipates issuing IFB W91247-09-B-0004, on or around 5 December 2008. The IFB and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contracting Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
