- The solicitation for this project will be posted on or about December 3, 2008 with quotes due on or about January 5, 2009. This is an “option year” contract with one base year and four option years spanning from Feb. 1, 2009 until Jan. 30, 2014 if all options are exercised. Initial award will be made for the base year only. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished Property), and incidentals to perform janitorial services at the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Whitman Unit – Baker Office and Compound. The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Whitman Unit – Baker Office and Compound buildings are located at 3285 11th Street, Baker City, Oregon. There are seven buildings where janitorial services are required: the Main Office modular building (approx. 12,700 square feet), the Warehouse (approx. 1160 square feet), the Communications Shop (approx. 812 square feet), the Auto Shop (approx. 600 square feet), the Wellness Room and Bathroom (approx. 450 square feet), Fire office 288 sq ft. (Right off the wellness room used only from March thru Nov.) and the Cache bathroom (used only from March thru Nov.).
