- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to YSI, Inc. in Yellow Springs, OH for 20 600LS (Level Sonde) water quality monitor, shallow vented level, conductivity, temperature sensors, with internal memory to be delivered to USGS, BLDG 2101 Warehouse, Stennis Space Center, MS. This Requirement does not require any option periods. YSI, Inc. is the only known source for this requirement because YSI is the proprietary manufacturer of the equipment and they possess the technical knowledge and patents covering the intricate designs of the instrument and any accessory items associated with that instrument. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: abenton@usgs.gov.
