- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7 contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with Joint Commission Resources, Inc., 1415 W 22nd St STE Tower, Oak Brook, Il 60523-2000 to provide Custom Education 2009 Hospital Update training for VISN 7 VA Medical Centers. The period of performance for this procurement will be 2-3 December 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541612 a size standard of $7.0 million. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302- 1(a)(2)(ii)(A)and(B), only one responsible source. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VA's requirements must submit proof to the Contracting Officer no later than November 17, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. local time. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
