- Red River Army Depot has a requirement for the delivery of empty DOT approved containers. All containers delivered under the contract must be new and/or reconditioned containers that conform to DOT specifications. Containers must be embossed with an UN symbol and marked with the packaging identification codes to identify the type of container and material of construction and the performance standards code required for DOT compliance. No guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities to be ordered for a base and four (4) option years. Estimated quantities and sizes are: 6,000 each 55 gallon metal open top, 2,500 each 55 gallon metal closed top, 500 each 55 gallon plastic closed top, 500 each 55 gallon plastic open top, 50 each 85 gallon metal open top. The solicitation will post to Red River Army Depot's web site https://www.redriver.army.mil on or about December 2, 2008. Quotes are to be forwarded after pre-solicitation close date to Attn: Leola Liggins, see place of performance address above, or email: leola.liggins@us.army.mil before close date of actual solicitation. The procurement is 100% set aside for Small Businesses.
