- Grease/Drain Preventative Service Maintenance Solicitation The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to procure commercial item services under (FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items for Certain Commercial Items) for Drainage Interceptor Preventative Maintenance for the participating Southern California VA Healthcare Facilities: VA West Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073 and VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. The contractor is required to provide Fixture Drains/Grease Interceptors, Grease Trap Service and Drain Maintenance in various areas of both facilities on a scheduled and as needed basis. The intended contract is a Firm-Fixed Price service contract for a base year with the Government's right to extend the contract in one-year increments for a possibility of up to four option years. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside solicitation. AWARD MAY BE MADE TO A FIRM OTHER THAN THAT SUBMITTING THE LOWEST PRICE. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSIONS OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. THEREFORE OFFERORS' PROPOSALS SHOULD CONTAIN THE OFFERORS' BEST TERMS. The solicitation offers are due by December 12, 2008 at 3:30 PM Pacific Time. The solicitation packets will be made available through the FedBizOpps website at www.fbos.gov. NAICS number is 562219; Size Standard is $11.5 Million.
