- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement FM485283150008 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. The NAICS for this solicitation is 423450. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 100 employees. This is a commercial request for VIVID 7 Cardiac Ultrasound System "OR EQUAL" To furnish all labor, tools, parts, material transportation, and facilities to acquire: 1 VIVID 7 Cardiac Ultrasound System, GE Part No. BT08 "OR EQUAL" Salient characteristics are as follows: CLIN 0001: Quantity: 1 VIVID 7 Cardiac Ultrasound System (GE Part No BT08) "OR EQUAL" Equipment Description: Ultrasound system which is used to obtain 2-D and 3-D images of the heart. Transducers: (1) Multidimensional Transducer - supports and volume imaging and 2D, Color Flow, PW, CW, Tissue Velocity Imaging (1) Phased Array Transducer - supports cardiac, coronary, transcranial, and abdominal ultrasound studies. (1) TEE Transducer - Multiplane Transesophageal transducer placed down the patient's esophagus. (1) CW Pencil Probe - Non-Imaging pencil probe for CW Doppler examinations of vascular flow. Salient characteristics for Echo machine: Ability to do 2-D Imaging Ability to do 3-D Imaging Ability to do 4-D Imaging or similar Ability to do Color Doppler Ability to do Stress Echo Must have at least moderate to high portability Ability to do Doppler tissue imaging or similar Must have DICOM compatibility Must have DVD Burner Must have MO Disk Burner Must have support to USB Flash Cards Must have B/W printer Must have ECG cable set Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) Technical Special Requirements: a. Medical gas requirements: None The Manufacturer is to install the equipment and provide calibration/repair services if needed. Technical Literature: Requesting 2 copies of all necessary operators' literature, service literature, schematics, theory of operation for all circuitry, calibration instructions, etc. Preferred Delivery: FOB Destination PLEASE INCLUDE DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE, AND/OR COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS IF PROVIDING AN "OR EQUAL." Also provide Part number and manufacturer of quoted items. 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate.
