- This project covers all services required to construct a Modified Record Fire Range at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. This facility includes: Firing Lanes to a standard width, Target Emplacements, Downrange Power and Data, Walk-in Firing Positions, Stationary Infantry Target System, Range Operation Control Tower, Operations and Storage Building, General Instruction Building, Ammunition Issue Building, Covered Mess, and Covered Bleachers. Supporting facilities include electrical transformer and power, air conditioning for all enclosed buildings and access road upgrade. The following will be listed as options in the solicitation: Ammo Breakdown Building, Bleacher Enclosure and Covered Mess Enclosure. The performance period is 300 days. This is a sealed bid procurement and is limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by SBA District Offices in Region IX. The estimated price of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS code is 236220 and size standard is $33.5M. 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) program must have NAICS code 236220 among their approved NAICS codes. The solicitation should be issued on or about December 3, 2008 and proposals will be due on or about January 8, 2009. The solicitation and any amendments will be available by download only from the FedBizOpps website. Registration on the FedBizOpps website is required in order to download. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project.
