- This announcement is notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to The Driskill Hotel Austin 604 Brazos Street, Austin, Texas, USA 78701. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 4th Infantry Division, Leadership Off-Site Seminar for 3 days (04-06 Mar 09) for which the establishment will be providing: a. 120 Rooms - double occupancy bed rooms for 2 nights (check-in on 04 Mar 09- Check-out on 06 Mar 09). b. Conference room set up for 225 people from 6:30 PM - 10 PM on 4 Mar 09. Cater dinner from 7PM-10PM for 225 people on 4 Mar 09. c. Large Conference room set up for 225 people from 8AM - 5PM on 5 Mar 09. Cater Continental Breakfast from 07:30-08:30AM and Lunch from 12:00PM to 1:00PM for 225 people on 5 Mar 09. d. 1 large conference room, divided into 4 separate conference spaces for different sessions from 0800-1700 hours on the 5 Mar 09. Each of the 4 separate areas will accommodate 20-30 people in a conference room style meeting. e. Dining room will be set up for 225 people on 5 Mar 09 from 0630AM - 10PM. f. Conference room will be set up for 225 people from 07:00AM-15:00PM on 6 Mar 08. Cater Continental Breakfast from 07:30-08:30AM and Lunch from 12:00PM to 1:00PM for 225 people. All conference room to include dinning room will be fully equipped with a proxima, wireless microphone, speakers, projection screen, and podium. g. Conference room set up for Conference/meeting room with Internet and Phone line-in house (U.S. Long Distance). h. The Driskill Hotel will provide three trained security guards and one supervisor 24 hours a day; additional security measures include but are not limited to 45 or more security cameras throughout the building that are monitored and recorded continuously with playback capability.
