- Transportation rental requirements at or near Camp Shelby, MS for Five 15-Passenger Vans with unlimited mileage to begin no later than November 20, 2008 and end no later than December 31, 2008. Due to the nature of the mission, the contractor must provide the ability/flexibility to have more than one government driver assigned to each vehicle without additional cost to the government. Fuel will be provided by the government. In the event of a mechanical failure or accident, require replacement vehicle within 24 hours in order to prevent interruption of mission. The potential exists for the contract to end on or about December 24, 2008. Contracting Office Representative (COR) will provide 24 hour notification to manager on duty in the event the contract is to be terminated prior to December 31, 2008. Early termination, if used, is to be at no additional cost to the government. DUE TO THE URGENCY OF THIS REQUIREMENT, QUOTES MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE BY NOVEMBER THE 19TH, 10:00 AM, WITH THE PICK-UP OF VEHICLES ON NOVEMBER 20TH.
