- This procurement will be Unrestricted. The service consists of providing Hotel Accommodations for single and or double rooms for reservist stationed at the U.S Coast Guard Sector Portland, Oregon. Facility must be rated minimum 3 stars or above based on hotel’s rating chain; be within a 20 mile radius between Swan Island, Oregon; and located in a secure location with minimal crime activity. This requirement is for lodging only and does not include but not limited to: incidental room charges such as food, drinks, alcohol, mini bars, pay per view movies and/or games, room service, long distance and local phone calls, tips and laundry service. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government may award multiple contracts from this solicitation. The resultant contract(s) for this requirement will be Firm Fixed Price - Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quanity for Hotel Accommodations. The period of performance will begin 01 February 2009 thru 31 January 2010, with four one year options. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAIC) is 721110. The related small business size standard is $7 million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. You must register and complete Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov. Offerors must have an active record in CCR account and an active Market Partner Identification Number (MPIN) The FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification – Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26 -- Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35 – Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.222-36 -- Affirmative Action for Workers With Disabilities; FAR 52.222-37 -- Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Internet by Electronic Solicitation at FBO website https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=home&tab=list&mode=list&cck=1&au=&ck (paper copies will not be available). Request for Proposal will be available on or about 2 December 2008. Locate the solicitation number HSCG89-09-R-6RB999 and follow the instructions for downloading.
