- This Market Survey is being conducted to identify companies with experiencein the production of celluloid and an interest in producing celluloid sheet stock, specifically: corporate knowledge, technical expertise, and manufacturing equipment / facilities. The primary objective of this survey is to identify domestic U.S. companies with a background and interest in celluloid manufacturing; however, non-U.S. companies are invited to respond to this survey. Celluloid sheet is being contemplated for use in various munitions items with a potential yearly production requirement of 10-40 tons. All responding companies shall provide a summary of their companys qualifications to respond to this market survey including: company name, address, point of contact (POC) identification; celluloid manufacturing experience (past and / or present); celluloid manufacturing capabilities (active, inactive, potential) including descriptions of available equipment to support said manufacturing; and whether the company is a small or large business. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. This market survey is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Market Survey.
