- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U. S. Small Business Administration firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to Extend Building Boat Bay @ USCG Aids to Navigation Team Potomac, St. Inigoes, MD. Major items of work includes: 1.1 Construct 6’ x 40’ addition on back side of a pre-engineered metal building (boat house garage). Metal frame construction shall match that of existing building. Contractor is responsible for field checking existing dimensions (USCG drawings are not accurate), and providing structural details. 1.2 Relocate electrical facilities (lights switches, conduits and wiring) from existing back wall to new wall. Provide all new electrical materials. 1.3 Relocate existing eyewash station to new wall. Construct new plumbing service to eye wash station, and construct new exterior hose bib. 1.4 Work around existing communication wiring, and allow U. S. Coast Guard access to relocate wiring to new wall. Allow for a one week delay. 1.5 Provide temporary weather proof cover over side of building when wall is removed. 1.6 Work associated with these items are described in the following specification sections and/or are shown on the contract drawings. Incidental work items not listed above and necessary for completing the project shall be included. The NAICS for this project is 238130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $13.0M. Vendors interested in performing this project are invited to provide the following information to U. S. Coast Guard CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Melton) no later than COB 11/17/08. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at carolyn.m.melton@uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address, Business Size (Disadvantaged Status, 8(a) status and/or HUBZone status). NO TELEPHONE, WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS will be honored. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government Reserves the right to consider a Small Business, 8(a), or any other set-aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
