- NOTICES: 1. This solicitation requires only Zeigler Brothers, Inc. manufactured NIH-31 diet. Zeigler Brothers, Inc. is the most current provider of this product and to maintain consistency in the quality of diet and ingredients, it is critical that NIEHS continue to use this specific manufacturer product to complete current studies, and until a new contract covering annual requirements is awarded. NIEHS plans to issue a solicitation for this product based on estimated annual requirements within approximately 1 month. The NIH-31 diet specified will be included with no restrictions on manufacturer. 2. Response to this combined synopsis/solicitation shall include: a. Completed cover sheet (RFQ Page 1) - DUE DATE/TIME: 12:30 PM ET - Wednesday, November 12, 2008 b. Competed Section IV (RFQ Page 3 – Pricing and delivery times) c. Representations and Certifications (see RFQ Page 2 Instructions 3. Response is requested electronic (email Paula Pier at pierp@niehs.nih.gov) or fax at 919- 541-5117. 4. This solicitation is total Small Business Set-Aside.
