- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources that can provide the following engine parts for the 16RP200 Paxman Engine: 1. ACN: 2815 01 LG4 9864, Diaphragm Valve, P/N: ST016141, QTY: 17 Each. 2. ACN: 2815 99 665 0431, Bearing Block Assembly, P/N: Y3J14101J, QTY: 12 Each. 3. ACN: 2815 01 LG8 6490, Rotor, Driving, P/N Y3J20716C, QTY: 5 Each. 4. ACN: 2815 01 LG8 6491, Rotor, Driven, P/N YEJ20717B, QTY: 5 Each. 5. ACN: 2815 01 LG8 9724, Pipe, Seawater, P/N 84MY417, QTY: 5 Each. 6. ACN: 2815 01 LG8 9723, Pipe, Seawater, P/N 16Y3J40826, QTY: 8 Each. Manufacturer: Man B&W Diesel NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source contract will be negotiated and awarded to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Man B&W Diesel, an authorized distributor, or Viking, Inc. It is the Governments belief that Man B&W Diesel, an authorized distributor, or Viking Inc., who has previously been successful in providing Paxman Engine parts to the Government, can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 10 calendar days from the day of this notice. The information that must be submitted includes: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured and sold to the Government. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All responsible sources may submit a response to this notice, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO system for changes or amendments to this notice. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.
