- The Hoosier National Forest has a requirement to enter into an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Performance Based Service Contract for Forest-wide control of nonnative invasive species (NNIS) of plants and selected “invasive-like” native plants using a combination of mechanical and herbicide treatments. Work will occur in selected areas of both the Brownstown Ranger District and the Tell City Ranger District. The required work includes cutting (as needed) and/or herbicide treatment of larger woody vegetation consisting of trees and large shrubs using foliar or basal bark spraying (and other techniques), treatment of shrubs and woody vines by light mowing or cutting of woody vegetation in combination with herbicide, and other foliar application of herbicides to treat woody shrubs and vines. The solicitation will be issued 100% set-aside for small business. Solicitation Number (RFP): AG-52B1-S-09-0001, NAICS 115310 (Size Standard $7.0 Million). Performance Period: Base year and up to 4 option years.
