- This synopsis is a modification to the original synopsis published on 10/15/2008. The procurement is hereby changed to Unrestricted based on the SBA non-manufacturer rule. We have received the following questions: 1) What equipment are you currently using? None 2) What monthly postage is used? $3,444.00 3) What percent is discounted? None 4) How many are 1 oz rate? Unknown 5) What percent are mixed and alike: 4th quarter data: Incoming 130 registered, 187 express, 78 certified, 36 1st class, 68 priority, 6 FED EX Outgoing 497 registered, 262 express, 80 certified, 676 1st class, 0 priority, 48 FED EX. 6) How many flats per week/month see data in question 5. 7) What is the maximum weight 70 lbs. 8) Are there any peak periods? First and third week of month. 9) outsource volume 85% 15% Postal Express. 10) Do you do any pre-sorting No. 11) Track by hand or system? Both mail systems and log books. 12) Number of departments at NUWCDIVNPT 208 departments, divisions and branches. 13) Do you track using alpha or numeric? Both by index information and serial number. 14) Type of monthly volume 500 pieces see answer to question 5. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
