Description
The US ARMY CECOM LCMC intends to acquire 56 each AN/PVS-14 Single Tube Night Vision Monocular, 24 each ATS-5000 Thermal Weapon Sight and 56 each AN-PEQ-2A Target Pointer-Aiming Light. The AN-PVS-14 is the optimum night vision monocular system. It is a light weight, weight, Multi purpose monocular capable of being handheld, head or helmet mounted, or mounted on a weapon system. The new improved AN-PVS-14 offers the latest technology in a package that meet the rigorous environmental demands. Key Features: Automatic brightness control for high light protection, Bright light protection, Manually adjustable gain for varying light conditions and Low battery indicator. Specification: Battery Two AA Alkaline Batteries, Battery Life 40 Hours, Field of View 40 degrees, Dimensions 5.7 x 6.4 x 12.7 cm 2.25 x 2.5 x 5 inches, Weight 380 grams (13 ounces), Magnification 1X, Lens 27mm.f-1.2, Detection Range Approximately 500 Meters, Focus Range 25 cm to infinity, Eye Relief 25mm and Diopter Adjustment -6 to +2 diopters. Includes: Mil Spec Headset, Headset Adapter, Demist Shield, Sacrificial Filter, Soft Carrying Case, Cleaning Kit and Operator Manuals. The ATS-5000 Medium Thermal Weapon Sight, is the latest generation Thermal Weapon Sight utilizing the Market preferred Vanadium Oxide (Vox) microbolometer uncooled thermal imaging technology. This sight offers 640 x 480 resolution and a 25 micron pitch detector. The unit weight under three pounds and has detection range of 1270 meters (wide FOV) and 1625 meters (narrow FOV). The ATS 5000 features 3X e-zoom and interfaces with a variety of lenses. AN-PEQ-2A Target Pointer-Aiming Light is dual laser system developed to allow a combination of both pin point aming and broad beam target illumination. It anc be handheld or mounted to a weapon for operation. AN-PEQ-2A when weapon mounted allows both lasers to be bore sighted individually. Each laser has its on azimuth and elevation adjustment knobs mounting is use with a rail grabber, optional brackets are available. Cable switches are supplied that attach to weapon for firing the laser. When used in a handheld mode AN-PEQ-2 is activated by depressing the fire button located on the top of the system. Selective operation of AN-PEQ-2 is controlled by the six position switch just to the rear of the fire button. System Features: Separate Aiming and Illuminator Beams. Both beams are adjustable in elevation and windage. Aim spot can be centered in illumination area. Illumination beam able to focus from a pinpoint spot to wide-angle flood. Pointer ranges can exceed 10 miles. Various diffusers available for customized light shaping. Compact, Durable and Lightweight. Uses 2 AA batteries. Waterproof to 66 feet.
