- Pre-solicitation notice for the purchase of garnet abrasive blast media: 30x60 Plus Garnet Blast Media The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed priced Requirements type contract for one base year and four additional option years. Estimated quantity per year and period of performance is as follows: Base year8 December 2008 through 7 December 2009 Blast Media120 Bags 1st Option Year8 December 2009 through 7 December 2010 Blast Media120 Bags 2nd Option Year8 December 2010 through 7 December 2011 Blast Media120 Bags 3rd Option Year8 December 2011 through 7 December 2012 Blast Media120 Bags 4th Option Year8 December 2012 through 7 December 2013 Blast Media120 Bags The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (destination). This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See numbered note 1. Solicitation date: O/A 12 November 2008, Closing date: O/A 1 December 2008. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about 12 November. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain any and all amendments to the solicitation from the above listed website. Specifications will be released with the solicitation.
