- 28 - SPARES OC-ALC/DSCR/ZBAC DLR PROCUREMENTS OPS 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AC1/109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032.TF33 PLATE, COMPONENT SOL SPRTA1-09-Q-0095Item 0001NSN:2840-01-470-6510 RV, P/N:777879.Item Description: Seat Assy-GRBX, Rear is a hardened steel plate component with drilled mount holes to mount seat to diffuser case of engine and drilled mount pin holes to mount main assy drive gearbox to seat. Seat is round in shape. Function of the mount plate is to align and mount the rear of the main assy drive gearbox assy to the TF33 engine. Dimensions are 6.276" O.D. X.890" Thick. Material consists of AMS 561 Stainless Steel. Applicable to: TF33EngineDelivery:53 ea On or Before 30 September 2010 Quantity: Min 13 ea; BEQ 53; Max 80 ea New Material Solicited Only.The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 20 November 2008.The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 5 December 2008.The anticipated award date will be 30 January 2008.No telephone requests.Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. It is anticipated that this requirement is sole-source to United Technologies since they are considered the only current approved source. Non-approved sources wishing to submit a bid may do so; however, only qualified sources will be considered for award. First Articles may be required from newly approved sources. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.EXPORT CONTROL ITEMS: Foreign owned firms are advised to contact the Contracting Officer or Program Manager before submitting a proposal to determine whether there are restrictions on receiving an award.Note:While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note:An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern.
