- This notice is issued by the National Park Service National Capital Region Washington, DC to notify the public of six (6) proposed solicitations for grounds maintenance of the George Washington Memorial Parkway for grounds maintenance. THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized and posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Each of the six sections of the George Washington Memorial Parkway shall be announced and solicited individually. These solicitations shall close at varying times with the last solicitation closing in the middle of February. It is the intention of the National Park Service that award shall be made for each section before the close of the next section. This allows prospective offerors time to consider each solicitation.
