- The Government has a requirement to procure non-personal services to provide all labor, tools, parts and transportation necessary to rebuild one Vantran Electric Corp. 750 KVA pad mounted Class A transformer, S/N 85V6746 (13800 Delta - 480 - 277V, weight 8,200 lbs) including: drain and properly dispose of used oil; rewind with new copper windings; replace/upgrade current fuses with three bayonet fuses of appropriate amperage rating to protect internal windings; refill with 450 gallons of PCB-free mineral oil; repaint, test and certify to manufacturer's specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees; the SIC code is 6120. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Current Federal Register. Line Item 0001: Rebuild electrical transformer. Performance will be completed within 60 days of award. Pick-up from and deliver to F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 90 CONS/LGCA, Attn: Jay Tobin, 7505 Barnes Loop Bldg 208, F.E.Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 NLT 19 Nov 2008 at 1200 PM Mountain Standard Time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number F1Y3DA8289A001. Offer may be faxed to 307-773-4636 or emailed to jay.tobin@warren.af.mil. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, evaluation of Commercial Items which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with an addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical acceptability and price.
