- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Forest Technology Systems. The award will be made for the remote automated weather stations by Forest Technology Systems. This procurement is being conducted under10 (USC 2304 (c)(1) or 41 USC 253(c)(1) (FAR) Part 6.302-1, for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. All inquiries and concerns shall be addressed in writing to U.S. Fish and Wildlife for Region 4 National Wildlife Refuge Systems 1875 Century Blvd.Suite 420, Atlanta,Georgia 30345. Attention: Nijua Heard, 1875 Century Blvd, Atlanta, Georgia 30345, or sent by email to nijua_heard@fws.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time,Wednesday, November 12, 2008. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
