- Description
- Sources Sought. Yokota Air Base, Japan is seeking sources interested in providing services under a concessionaire contract to run the new on-base Chilis Restaurant. The restaurant is scheduled to open in the spring/summer of 2009. The concessionaire must be able to provide all restaurant services associated with running a Chilis franchise restaurant. The Contractor shall provide proof of their capability to prepare the Chilis menu and provide all support services. The Government is not intending to offer SOFA privileges or logistical support under this concessionaire contract. Therefore, the concessionaire must be capable of providing food service in accordance with applicable Japanese laws and pertinent regulations and commercial practices. At concessionaire's expense, they shall obtain all permits, pay all license fees, and comply with all national laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations and publication published by the military relating to public health. This notice is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. No solicitation exists at this time.
