- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, for the procurement of Time Critical Parts for EA-18G Full-Rate Production (Lot 33) Airborne Electronic Attack Kits. McDonnell Douglas is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft and is the only known source with the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G peculiar engineering data, capability, and expertise required to fulfill NAVAIR’s requirements within the time required.
