Description: PROJECT TITLE : Weed and Pest Control Services LOCATION : Lake Kaweah, Tulare County, Lemon Cove, CA This Procurement shall be conducted under FSC CODE: S207, SIC CODE: 7342, NAICS Code: 561710. The size standard for this code is $6,500,000. All questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent, Annette Fleming, at (916) 557-6882, FAX: No.: (916) 557-7854, e-mail Annette.Fleming@usace.army.mil. TYPE OF AWARD : This acquisition shall be Unrestricted, Request for Quotation. All Small Business responsible sources may submit a quotation. JOB DESCRIPTION : The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to provide for Weed and Pest Control Services, various locations at Lake Kaweah, Tulare County, Lemon Cove, CA. LOCATION: 20 miles East of Visalia, California. Prospective vendor are Strongly urged to visit the site, to set up a site visit contact the Lake at 559-597-2301 to become familiar with the location and the work involved. This purchase is for a base year and four (4) option years. All Quotations are due not later than 12 November 2008 @ 10:00 am PST. The acquisition method is Request for Quotation. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Low priced responsive, responsible, compliant vendor shall be awarded the contract. VENDORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION : The solicitation shall be available on or about 28 October 2008. The Request for Quotation shall not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition shall be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps. If you want all information concerning this RFQ you shall need to click on the box at the bottom called Register to Receive Notification. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDS website shall be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink shall be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website ( https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ ) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) website ( www.fbo.gov ) once the solicitation is issued. The hyper-link shall not appear as a website address, but as text as follows: Available online via the FedTeDS (Federal Technical Data Solution) website. Viewing/downloading documents from FedTeDS shall require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration ( www.ccr.gov ). If you are a first-time FedTeDS user, you shall also be required to register in FedTeDS ( www.fedteds.gov ) before accessing the solicitation documents.
